First Aid

For the Parents/Guardians/Carers of children with Anaphylaxis, Allergies, Asthma, Diabetes, or Epilepsy are required to provide an action plan for your child completed by your Doctor. Action plans detail the instructions for school staff to follow in the event of a medical emergency. Action plans help us to provide a safe environment for your child and ensure their health and wellbeing during school hours. Moreover, it is an Education Department directive that schools are provided with new medical action plan annually/when expired/to be reviewed.

Medical action plan templates are available via the links below and at the school office. Once completed by your doctor, please return to the school office. Wherever possible, it is encouraged that medication is administered outside of school hours. If your child has a medical condition that requires a prescription medication to be administered during school hours, you must complete a Medication Authority form. All medication must be provided to the school office at the commencement of the day by Parent/Guardian/Carer in its original packaging.
